Short-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up, and just become a consistant runner again.

Run to run and be my best. Just enjoy it, and stop comparing myself to others running abilities, because it definitely discourages me!

Long-Term Running Goals:

To enjoy a very long life of running!

Break 6 min in the mile

Break 12 min in the 3200M

Break 20 min in the 5k

break 2 hours in the 1/2

Personal:

College Sophomore at SUU.

Majoring in Psychology and Sports Medicine.

Hope to be able to Coach one day, and show kids my love for running and inspire them to reach goals and do hard things they never thought they could do. I want others to feel how I feel about running.

3 miles with sierra! It was finally a good one! I'm gonna be honest with you though.... This week was a pretty crazy week when it comes to running. I haven't really been running thats why. And I was so dissapointed that my legs hurt so bad again.. I really was questioning running track, and not to be dramatic but actually questioning running at all any more. I was so discouraged and had no motivation. But when I took a step back and I thought about it and thought about how much running has done for me.. And how much I love it.. I realized that I really wouldn't be able to stop! I love it too much.. I just need to force myself for a little while to get out there and hopefully these dang legs get better.... Today was a good run.. Next week is going to be tough with funerals and going out of town and stuff.. I'll figure it out though..

3.5 on the dang treadmill.. I think this is the farthest I've ever ran on a treadmill cause i HATE them! But my parents wont let me run in down town salt lake by myself!! bummmer! :( but it was good..

I have to WRITE and give my grandma's eulogy at the funeral. I'm so nervous.. Runnings really helped me think about it but still i don't know if I could ever do it justice!!! AHHH

WOOOOSH! Today was intense! I LOVED IT!

3 miles in the morning.. the legs felt good! the only problem was my breathing was pretty hard... But I didn't feel in pain so it was a good start..

2 mile warm up/3 sets of 4 minutes at I pace.... with 3 minutes inbetween..

It was tough and easy at the same time.. Tough to get my mind set into these again but I feel it coming back.. and tough that it was my first day on hard work outs! hahaha CRAZY! But I stuck the pace I set for myself pretty well and enjoyed (as much as I could) pushing myself.. I was happy cause My legs feeel good! It was just my breathing and also just getting the legs back and moving! I'M READY THOUGH!!!! I am going to start doing every morning workouts I think??? And I'm just excited for the season to be on its way!!

I wasn't so sure about today! legs were DEAD... and breathing was horrible.. especially in the morning..

 

after school I got started on the warm up and almost passed out.. So I turned around and only did a mile warm up and went and talked to mark.. He told me to eat some food (I haven't really been eating a sufficient diet for the level of workouts I'm doing). But I didn't want to miss running with the team.. So i went and talked to pete and she gave me a granola bar and told me to go get it done! :D hahaha none the less. I got it done.. not very well though.. hit times but didn't feel good! ;lasdjf

three in the morning!

After school i thought I worked at 5 so I booked it through the workout... only went like 1.5 and then turned around and lifted and sprinted to work and found out I worked at 6! :( I was mad!

6- what a fun run!!! :D We went on the shoe run.. Ran around to sandburgs and got in a little! Some girls got ALL they way in.. I just stuck my legs in!!! then we went to go back to the school and went through this field of COWS and a few girls were way scared! haha it was funny! Jessica P. And Rachel S. Were soooooo funny! I love those girls!

I don't really know how much I ran.. But I know I did three in the morning.. and than a half mile warm up for the race.. and a mile race! It went well considering my out of shapenessss! I'm kinda anxious to get in shape again! I wanna be racing with the more competitive pack again! but then I cooled down by running back and forth for about 30 minutes while cheering on the rest of the boys and girls heats of the mile....

the 800- this race is bloody hard! I couldn't believe it! haha I'm not a sprinter so thats why and its just over to quick for me... theres not really any thrill cause it ends to fast and there's no strategizing or anything?? just RUN! FAST! hahaha

3 in the morning went well... Hurt worse than normal though...

After school was lamee!!! i went the whole seven.. thats about the only good thing I could say about the whole run today! it was tough and my legs hurt and EVERYTHING hurt and I coudldn't keep a good pace and it was just BLAH! but I still finished everything! I was determined to do atleast that!!
