Short-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up, and just become a consistant runner again.

Run to run and be my best. Just enjoy it, and stop comparing myself to others running abilities, because it definitely discourages me!

Long-Term Running Goals:

To enjoy a very long life of running!

Break 6 min in the mile

Break 12 min in the 3200M

Break 20 min in the 5k

break 2 hours in the 1/2

Personal:

College Sophomore at SUU.

Majoring in Psychology and Sports Medicine.

Hope to be able to Coach one day, and show kids my love for running and inspire them to reach goals and do hard things they never thought they could do. I want others to feel how I feel about running.

SPEED! 6x800. Oh gosh I know your getting sick of hearing me say I love running! My legs hurt pretty bad and were pretty tight but I'm figuring out how to work through that and just ignore it and GO! It was a good workout with good times and good mentally. Pushed myself the whole time and got times I was shooting for.. stayed between 3:28 and 3:40. The other week I couldn't get under 4:30! CRAZY!

AM: Artic circle and me and kaylee were actually on time so we got to run with all them! It rocked! :) I was a little hyper! It was so fun. Our team is so tight! It rockss.

 

PM: AT. I really usually don't like AT but just like every run lately I loved it! :) I pushed it and I was ahead of summer of our higher varsity girls and I kept asking myself if I was pushing it maybe to hard but then I would shake it off cause I felt good and it felt like a pretty good pace.. Nothing that would make me pass out like race pace. but it definitely wasn't comfortable and I wanted to be done. Especially at the end with the two big hills. But I just dug it in! :)

blah blah blah!! morning run! my legs were so sore! Ha but it was fun me and kaylee were actually pretty quiet but I've learned how to push past the little pains a lot better that use to just slow me way down.

8 miler.. Much much better than morning ran with cassidy and Stefani and had tons of fun. It was wierd cause I kept having to pull back to stay with them. at about 5 miles stef had to go potty bad so we stopped at a girls house that we knew and she went and then after that I pulled away from them and finished the last 3 on my own.. It felt way good and even though my butt was sore and my legs were sore I finished strong and did striders! LOVED IT!

ran the PV course for the Dual in the Desert. I like it! But my legs were way dead today! Better stretch them out for the race! Then we did striders. After practice we had a meeting in coaches room about how to focus and control your body with positive thinking.. It was really cool!

AM: Artic Circle! Thanks goodness we had this run in the morning cause my legs were full of crap yesterday afternoon and this helped get everything out and made them feel much better!

PM: RACE!!! Made sure I got a good warm up in! Got to the line and tried really hard to control my nerves!!! It worked pretty well cause I had a really good race and focused very well! Nerves distract me too much I've found out. But it felt good and passed people strong. I started hurting around mile 2 but pushed through it and had a really strong finish again! I love finishing hard it feels good! I'm only 9 seconds away from varsity!! I'm so excited for the next race... maybe I can close that gap more! Made sure I got a good cool down in also.. I think thats something we need to focus on alot! :)

five early in the morning with the team up at the hotel! It was so fun cause I ran all through my old neighborhood where I grew up! It was fun!
