AM: Artic Circle! Thanks goodness we had this run in the morning cause my legs were full of crap yesterday afternoon and this helped get everything out and made them feel much better!
PM: RACE!!! Made sure I got a good warm up in! Got to the line and tried really hard to control my nerves!!! It worked pretty well cause I had a really good race and focused very well! Nerves distract me too much I've found out. But it felt good and passed people strong. I started hurting around mile 2 but pushed through it and had a really strong finish again! I love finishing hard it feels good! I'm only 9 seconds away from varsity!! I'm so excited for the next race... maybe I can close that gap more! Made sure I got a good cool down in also.. I think thats something we need to focus on alot! :) |
